Green Envy

Tulane University's Oldest A Cappella Group

About Our Group

We’re Green Envy A Cappella, Grenvy for short. In 1991, a few brave souls decided to shake up the Tulane music scene by creating the school’s first ever a cappella group. Since then, we’ve produced 5 studio albums, toured around the country, and eaten 156 Dominos Pizzas (roughly). The Grenvy Fam is currently comprised of 16 students from 10 different states and Puerto Rico, who all happen to love making music.

Whether we’re singing Top 40, oldies, R&B or alternative, we always love performing in and around New Orleans. In addition to our campus concerts, we’ve been lucky enough to sing at weddings, sporting events, school assemblies, and once, a historical re-enactment. (Yes, there are pictures) We can’t wait to see what this upcoming year will bring!
